A Qatari liquefied natural gas tanker called the Onaiza is expected to arrive at Britain's South Hook import terminal on July 6, according to the local port authority website. The tanker, which can carry over 210,000 cubic metres of the super-cooled gas,
is expected to arrive at the terminal in Wales from the Ras Laffan
production facility in Qatar. The Al Huwaila tanker, which can carry
214,000 cubic metres of gas, is expected to arrive at the terminal on
July 1, according to the Milford Haven port authority and AISLive ship
tracking data on Reuters.
Europe's biggest LNG import terminal is a joint venture between U.S.
major Exxon Mobil state-run Qatar Petroleum (QP), and French energy
group Total (Reporting by Daniel Fineren, Editing by Peter Blackburn)
