Iranian iron ore output in Q1 rises by 3pct YoY

Steel Orbis reported that Iran’s state owned miners produced 6,210,215 tonnes of iron ore in the Q1 of the current Iranian year up 3% from the same period in 2008. As per report, Iran has been stepping up its exploitation and production of iron ore in recent years. According to IMIDRO, Iran’s state owned miners produced 25,280,385 tonnes of iron ore in the last Iranian year.
